Compact and resilient, the new release ensures seamless Apple and Android compatibility, powered by enduring battery life and protected by continuous encryption.

Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi Tag, a new tiny tracking device intended to assist customers in monitoring their daily needs. Designed for daily convenience, the tracker enables individuals to oversee their personal possessions via a secure and highly efficient network infrastructure.

The Xiaomi Tag boasts a basic design weighing only 10 grams, facilitating effortless attachment to keys, wallets, or bags. The exterior features an IP67 grade for dust and water resistance, guaranteeing the tracker can endure typical everyday usage and small mishaps. The device is powered by a common, readily replaced battery that provides over a year of continuous use, accompanied by low-battery notifications sent immediately through the associated tracking application.
The new release prioritises functionality, employing a secure Bluetooth signal to consistently transmit its whereabouts. It inherently supports both the Apple Find My and Google Android Find Hub networks, ensuring extensive compatibility across iOS and Android devices. The transmission of location data is entirely encrypted to safeguard user privacy, accompanied by anti-tracking notifications to avert unauthorised surveillance. Supplementary safety features comprise a designated Lost Mode that reveals the owner's contact information through an NFC scan, along with left-behind warnings exclusively facilitated by the Apple Find My network.
