Explore La Panthère’s universe to discover its origins and manifestations throughout the house’s exquisite array of items.

For generations, the panther has epitomized luxury at the fine jeweler Cartier and serves as a perpetual source of inspiration for the company in the creation of various products, including watches, jewelry, and perfumes. La Panthère embodies the essence of the French maison. The attributes typically linked to the elusive creature, such as grace, finesse, and elegance, are manifested in its collections.
The forthcoming show, dubbed “Into the Wild,” is anticipated to be immersive, allowing tourists to traverse the marvels of La Panthère’s realm and investigate its beginnings and subsequent diversity. The unique motifs of La Panthère originally emerged on a women's watch in 1914, with its representation evolving from abstract to figurative three years thereafter. The motif was illustrated on a case presented by Louis Cartier to Jeanne Toussaint, featuring the animal flanked by cypress trees.
Under Jeanne Toussaint's direction as the maison's artistic director, the panther's iconic style permeates nearly all of the jeweller's creations. From the general public to prominent style icons such as Jisoo of Blackpink, Ella Balinska, and Timothée Chalamet, all have donned La Pathère at numerous red carpets and award ceremonies.
In Singapore, we were privileged to observe La Pathère at the Beautés de Monde high jewellery exhibition conducted earlier in July. Under the theme "World of Wildlife," Cartier's spirit animal was showcased in exquisite stones and diamonds. The fanciful depiction of the panther enhances the maison by alleviating the typically somber and austere ambiance associated with expensive jewellery exhibitions.
The public may not view the exquisite artworks displayed at Beautés du Monde, but they can immerse themselves in the La Panthère cosmos at the “Into the Wild” exhibition from 16 to 30 October.

Reserve a 30-minute time slot today on our website, and we anticipate that you will appreciate the exhibition.
Location: Bayfront Pavilion, Gardens by the Bay (18 Marina Gardens Drive, Singapore 018953)
