In commemoration of the centenary of the pioneering Leica I, Leica has introduced the M11-D 100 Years of Leica Anniversary Set, a limited edition of only 101 sets. The M11-D integrates contemporary engineering with classic style, honoring the original 1925 camera through its high-gloss black lacquered brass top plate, nickel-toned controls, and an unembellished exterior devoid of branding. The centerpiece is accompanied by two distinctive lenses: a reissued Leitz Anastigmat-M 50 f/3.5, replicating the original collapsible optic, and a bespoke Summilux-M 50 f/1.4 ASPH., all adorned in anodized nickel finishes with vintage design elements.

Each numbered set is encased in a luxurious black lacquered wooden box with cream-white microvelour interior and comprises period-inspired leather accessories along with a certificate of authenticity. The millionth Leica M-Camera, serial number 6000000, is included in this release, engraved as no. 000, marking a historic milestone for collectors. The collection illustrates Leica's distinctive capacity to merge tradition with innovation, serving as both an homage to its foundational legacy and a daring celebration of artistry.
